'The multi-screen installation Voodoo Music (2006) by Minit (Jasmine Guffond and Torben Tilly) employs a minimalist aesthetic to evoke the hypnotic power of television. Five monitors arranged side-by-side show closely framed shots of the heads of the two artists and three friends (two male, one female) staring directly at the camera. The heads appear trapped within the rectangle of the electronic image and their expressions are uniformly intense and unsettling. The video footage is black & white and the images intermittingly fade into and out of a white background. A densely textured soundscape builds towards a cacophonous conclusion including Arthur Brown's recording of the hit 'I Put a Spell on You'.'
